My new custom coded portfolio site is something I worked hard to do my research on and execute web best practices. With a video background that tells a story, large, bold typography, bright colors, and a simple layout to highlight my work. Built with HTML, CSS, Javascript and some bootstrap elements, this site is an ongoing project as I seek to push myself to learn more web design skills. Hopefully it takes users on a journey to see and enjoy my work and then make it easy for them to contact me. This is where I continue to put into practice the lessons learned on the front end track on TeamTreehouse.com.

My old portfolio site design was done during my work at Ivy Tech Community College. Although I am proud of the work I put into it, it was rushed and didn't get the attention it deserved such as research and quality mock ups. Still good to put my web coding skills to work.
